home pregnancy test after ivf possibly correct?

I did egg retrieval on 6/10.  ovidrel(hcg)shot on 6/8.  blastocyst transfer on 6/15.  i know they tell you not to take a home test, but i couldn't help myself.  I thought maybe if i took one every couple of days, the results might be more accurate.  i took a test 6/18 was negative.  today 6/21  tested positive.  Is it even possible?

Had first blood test today and came back 176.6.  Test again on Fri.  Praying for all you ladies out there!!!!

thanks for the confidence boost. had another BFP with HPT this morning.  still nervous.  having mild cramping as well.  Is this normal?  can't wait til thursday

I am new to this forum. My husband found the site this morning and wanted me to read. I had egg donation from my niece because of premature ovarian failure. We had 18 eggs total, 4 survived. We had 2 frozen and 2 eggs transferred fresh transfer last year in April. I received a positive beta test on the 5th day. (did not dare take hpt first time) I carried for 8 weeks 4 days and was devastated when the miscarriage happened. We recently had FET on 2/15. Last night I was feeling really sick, I had diarrhea. No other symptoms except for sore tummy in spots. I got up thinking okay; I will take the hpt I bought to check to see if I might be pregnant. The hpt was negative. I get the beta test 2/25. Pray for me as this was our last transfer because we have no more eggs and have been trying for 18 years.

That same thing happened to me, and yes I am preg, So I bet u are preg! Keep me posted

I have done 3 HPTs.  The first was this past Thur (BFP) but I just assumed it was because there was still HCG from the trigger shot lingering in my system.  So, yesterday's was Negative.  But today's was Postive again.  Could this still be the HCG in my system or maybe the real deal?  My transfer was on the 2-12 and my blood test is on 2-24.  Has this happened to anybody and if so, what was the outcome?  Any insight?
