how often does abortion affect fertility?
I am 17.got the abortion at 13 weeks.the doctor had found no problems on my follow-up appointment.are there still chances that the abortion affected something?
You probably will not be affected at all physically. Today woman have a legal medical choice, I am glad you had that choice, but abortions are difficult emotionally, you will probably never forget this one. Get on BC now so you never have to make this choice again.
You may get a better response on a different forum as this forum is for ladies like myself who are desperate for a baby. But if the Doctors found no problems at your follow-up then you should be reasured by that. Having an abortion may affect you in later life emotionally rather then physically. Maybe a visit to your local family planning clinic would avoid this happening again. Unless of course you had to have this because of medical reasons rather then just lack of contraception.
