how soon to O

I am on cycle day 10 with femara + injectables.  DH is out of town until Friday night, cycle day 12.  I started OPK yesterday, just in case.  This morning, negative (which is good).  I just got a TON of EWCM, so I re-did the OPK and still very negative, can barely see the second line.  I thought I would O Saturday, but the EWCM is throwing me.  Dr. got called out on emergency today so no u/s.  I can't go the rest of the week due to family commitments (which sucks, b/c I would like to know what is up).  So all I can do is OPK and time intercourse.  I don't want to waste this cycle do not want O before Friday!!!!!!

you know, you reminded me. i did femara two cycles ago, and same thing, early ewcm, o feeling, went to dr. on day 11 for u/s and told him i already o'd.  he checked and said no, but soon.  so femara is giving me more fertile signs.  i will probably o friday or sat. just like i thought (fingers crossed) since even with trigger i don't O for 1-2 days.  you will be just a few days ahead of me! sending you ssbd!

I hope so, 10 is really early without a trigger, but I usually only get EWCM one time per month, which is why I am so freaked!  I will keep OPK'ing but now twice per day to see what happens.

How long are you taking the injectibles? I wouldn't think you'd ovulate until a few days after you stop the injectibles. I'm doing my first cycle on Femara this month (no injectibles, though), and I also had EWCM for a few days before I had my trigger done. It was actually creamy the day before my CD13 sonogram, so even though I hadn't gotten a positive OPK, I actually thought I had already O'd. I hadn't. There were two follicles there at 18 and 18.5 mm. I took the trigger that night (Monday), and I've had cramps on and off today, so I think I'm just now ovulating. I have a feeling you'll be fine, since your DH will be back on CD12. Good luck, alikat!

if you still havne't gotten a positive OPK hopefully that means you won't O before friday, since once you get a positive one it takes arond 36 hours to O!   typically ovulation is around the last day of EWCM.. so hopefully your body is just gearing up and getting ready, sounds like you'll defintely make it to friday though! good luck! :)
