is it possible? can it still happen? wasted too many years being young and dumb

i am an 34y.o. multi-cultural female. in my life time i have been pregnant 11 times; 2 abortions(1992,2003), 2 premature births (1995,1998) both children are deceased, 3 ectopic pregnancies(1997removed a portion of fallopian(l),2003removed the entire right tube,2004removed another portion of the left), 4 miscarriages(1995,2000,2003,2004). i also have had a few std's in the past; trich(2000), clamydia(2007), PID(1990). now I'm in a stable relationship and would like to try to have a child, but i don't want all the fuss of going into the doctors severals times getting more surgeries or injections, emotionally i'm not up to that, but if it is possible, then what can i do naturally as far as eating and drinking and exercise or even vitamins or supplements or even various sexual positions that may help me become pregnant. can i get pregnant at all?

The best place to start is to see if there is clear path on the remaining tube that you do have. PID is imfamous for causing blockage. If it is blocked, IVF may be the only route.

WOW that is quite a list, with al of the natural problems you have had, I would say it is best if you are supervised with a RE. (specialist) seeing as your track record does not have healthy pregnancies. You will need to be closely moniterd. GOOD LUCK starting your family.

Hi I can't tell you wether or not you can still conceive or give birth to a child I can only give you my opinion. I have a friend who tried and tried and tried and in 2001 became pregnant and went along with it and on christmas eve had alot of pains in her side etc. They brought her to the er and she had surgery to remove her tube she had a eptopic pregnancy. She had been on the pill for years and had gotten married so she was all excited to finally start trying for a family. She was devastated so her ob reffered her over to a RE. She gave birth to 2 daughters via invitro. Luckily her health insurance covered it. She had been told her chances of conceiving naturally had lowered due to losing her tube. But she was still ovulating. So I think you should go to your doc and see what they say if you need to have invitro they can help you find info on it! It's hard to say if you can conceive narurally or carry a child due to the amount of scar tissue from all of your operations pregnancies etc. I hope this helped alittle bit. Make sure to check w/ your doc ultimately in the end he or she will know what can happen and what can't. Here all we can do is share similiar issues or stories and give our opinions and most of all support! Good luck and take care!
