Clomid & Follicular Cyst

Hi there, Im 35 yrs old and been married for 2 1/2 years from now and we have been trying TTCing  from the very start and wasnt able to conceive, my husband did semen analysis came back normal, Early on the month of April I went to see and OB/GYN she did an CD 12 U/S and it came back normal and I had developed a 17mm follicle and another 9mm follicle on the left ovary and few small ones on the right and on CD14 I got and dark +OPK  but I couldn’t  continue seeing her as My husband started a new job overseas, Then  last month I went to see and new OB/GYN specialist and told her my story and she put me on clomid 100mg CD2-6 ( I have a normal 27-29 menstrual cycle and no PCOS & at CD 13  I did an Pelvic ultrasound and the report said that  they found multiple 10-11mm follicles on the left ovary and on follicular cyst measuring 24X18mm & my uterus lying was normal measuring 12, My question is :- Why did the Dr. Give me trigger shot of 10,000 iui pregnyl  when I had a cyst and no mature follicles, and why she describe me Duphaston (dydrogesterone 10mg 3Times per day) &Gupisone(prednisolone 5mg 3tiems/  day ) 100mg of ASPRIN  1 time/ day  starting from CD 16? was she expecting me to get pregnant ? and she also instruct me to do a blood test if AF doesnt show up ? Im lost here
Also she told me incase i got my period i should start round 2 of Clomid 100mg cd 2-6 again and come back for US CD 12
So im soooooooo confused from what Ive read every where else is that i should skip next cycle of clomid and start BCP, So Im wondering could  the triggershot  burst the cyst and make it fade away?
And what is the side effect of taking clomid when i have a follicular cyst at that size and that may have not been dissolved, knowing she ddnt ask me to do ultrasound on CD 2 and Im living overseas where protocols here are different and this is the best OB/GYN in the country
Waiting desperately for a second opinion

She is an OB/GYN, and when she gave me those meds i thought it was for the cyst but I too googled it and found out the reason taking them is to prevent Miscarriages if i got pregnant, I was confused on how could i get pregnant when i dont have any mature eggs and one cyst and I did some digging about cyst on so many websites none of them mentioned using trigger shots to get rid of them ! and  I couldn't find anywhere saying its okay to continue on Clomid if there's a follicular cyst on one of the Ovarys, from what ive read ppl either use BCP or skip the clomid cycle of the next month
Im guessing AF will show up 2 or 1 day from now and Im already having back cramps and night swets soo I need some one who nows about this stuff and advice me what to do
Btw Im living in Qatar now and the OB/GYN Im seeing is the head of the dept in the best hospital here and she is in a tight schedule that I had to wait from 1:30pm till 10:00pm just to see her so I cant discuss anything with her by phone until next appointment and that was scheduled at the mid of my next cycle

I would address all your concerns w/ your dr.  Did you discuss getting pregnant w/ your dr?? It sounds like the dr just gave you all this and nothing was discissed.  Is your OB/GYN a fertility specialist?? I love google as I googled every med or injection that was prescribed to me.  I say google it! I also had 3 cycles of clomid. I had a follice burst and was in pain, but other than that I haven't had any issues with it.  Keep us posted and Good Luck!!
