oral contraceptive pills

Hi everyone, pls i want to knw if taking oral contraceptive pills will affect my chance of becoming pregnant. I took it for six month to regulate my circle because i hv d prblm of irregular menses, bt i got married now and not pregnant. Pls i want to knw if dat is d reason

It is unlikely.  It may take some time for your cycle to get back on track but that should not be the cause of not conceiving.

I stopped taking mine at the end of September after being on them for 7 years. .. Took me 2 months to get a period.. Then tracked my ovulation and got pregnant on the the first cycle of being back to normal. So it is possible! Sometimes you are even more fertile after stopping them. However.. If you were on the pill to regulate your period.. Its very possible you'll go back to the irregular cycles you had before. Good luck!

I have been off the pill since I got married in 2013 and I still hhaven't conceived a baby so maybe it will take time or go to the doctor they can help you more on why you haven't gotten pregnant.  I am about to go to the doctor since it's been 3 years. I am freaking out
