Can anyone tell me what their Af was like after clomid?

Well started af early for me CD 32! I had really bad cramps and new when I went to the bathroom it was gonna be there! I bled for one day red dark healthy looking blood!  I know that sounds weird only way I can think to describe it. Then today I have had nothing but alot of ( sorry tmi) dark think black clots, it grossss! I've never really had it like this! I've always bled for at least 2-3 days then it taper off, but never clots like this on 2nd day. It worries me because I know clomid can effect your lining and how nice and healthy it is! There Is nothing nice and healthy for anything to have been able to attach to coming out now! I Just wonder if it is clomid and if this is why I didn't get pregnant this month? And if it is should I contiune to take it? Hummmm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And if it effected them getting pregnant?,

I actually gave Clomid just 2 months and moved on to a new RE..because the RE who prescribed Clomid 100 mg wasn't willing to do any monitoring (just the 7 dpo blood work for progesterone levels) and she had given me refills for 6 months..
I was having bad side effects and she wasn't concerned at all...not even sure why she started me off at 100 mg instead of the lower dose of 50 mg..all the tests were normal for both of us..
well! I still feel that it was a good decision for me to change my RE then..and even though I haven't had my BFP yet..atleast the bad side effects are gone and I do feel better than before!
But then again, all our bodies are different and there are tons and tons of success stories on clomid...

No they are not doing any of that yet! Im still with my Obgy so they are not willing to do any of that. Just a progesterone level on day 25! this was my first round with clomid 50mg cd3-7 and my level was 24 so they said that was good. they said i could do this for 6 months then i would need to go to an RE!  So  today im cd 3! my af only lasted 2 days! I wish they would look at my lining:( i dont know if i will be doing this for 6 months though im not liking clomid!!! i took my first clomid today and already having bad side effects!! Hot flashed like crazy and feel bad so im just gonna give this 3 months i think then move on to an RE! what do you think about just doing that?

hi there! what you are describing is very similar to what was happening to me on Clomid..
i was on 100 mg for 2 months and both times my periods were much lighter with lot of cramps..
I usually have periods that last for 5 days with some spotting on day 6..but with clomid first cycle it was only 3 days..and the second cycle just 2 days with nothing on day 3..
it did freak me out since both times my 7dpo progesterone levels were 128 and 84ng..but no BFP..
I moved to a new RE who then switched me to Letrozole (a.k.a Femara)
are you getting your uterine lining monitored by any chance?
