period before FET!!

Has anyone ever had this happen or heard of it before?  I'm trying for my 2nd FET, and was supposed to hopefully have the transfer on Tues or Wed....and suddenly last night I started spotting, and today it's like a period.  I can't believe this and wonder why and how it could have happened!  I did the exact same protocol as the first FET and didn't have any issues.  Unfortunately it's the weekend, so I can't see my RE till  tomorrow morning.  I wish there was someway to somehow salvage this, but I don't think it's possible.  I had a chemical pregnancy last FET, and was hoping that this time it was going to be right.  Why are the cards always stacked against me?

Wow, Awesome news!  Did they check your progesterone levels?  I am so glad that it's looking like a go to me!!!

well, just to update.  I only bled for 1 day, it seemed to have stopped.  I'm on progesterone now (plus estradiol).  They measured the lining, it was at 9mm.  So we are just going to watch and wait.  If I don't spot or anything today/tonight, we'll continue on with the FET and they'll thaw the embies.  I think the progesterone stopped the bleeding.  Though I can't say it was real blood, it was more like blood clots, with some brownish pink spotting.  Luckily today there is nothing.  keeping my fingers crossed.

I am so sorry that happened!  On the bright side, iif it cant be salvaged, it will only knock you back 2-3 weeks so you'll still get to transfer in June...

I did 2 FET and they put me on lupron and estrace and had no bleeding problems. I understand how you feel but you have your embryos and can try next month.

no they didn't thaw the embies.  it was a medicated cycle.  I started taking 6mg estradiol daily, just like I did for the last cycle.  I didn't have any issues before.  It just made my period come early.  Maybe the lining built up too quickly or something.  IT really *****.

I have never heard of that happening before!  Is it a natural cycle?  I wish I had advice for you, hopefully someone can help!  Good Luck and let us know what the RE says!  Have they already started to thaw the embies?  I am as confused as you are!!!!
