please help

Hi All

I  am also diagnose with unexplained infertility.
All my tests resulut came back normal.
My RE said everything looks perfactly normal for you and
I just cant understand why its not happening for you?And if there is some problem you will only know abt it if you will go to ivf.
She suggested to wait for 3 to 4 more month as we didnt finish ur first year yet.
Then she suggest to go for IVF instead for spending so much money on multiple IUIs as ivf has very high success rate in this situation.
and   ivf can use both as diagnose and treatment procedure.
She further said that there is 60% to 75% chance to have baby in our situation considering my age(30) with ivf.Is it true?
So I just want to know what your doctor  said to you abt this situation.plz help me .
Thanks

Thank you sooo much tina.

You dont know how peaceful I am feeling now. This forum is great.
Also I am very happy to know that there are some clinics who do ivf for flat price.
I will sure look into  that.

Lets pray we all get our BFP very soon.
Bye

The success rate is quite high. I'm pretty sure it is around 65-70% under the age of 30. There are several IVF clinics in the US that do guaranteed IVF for a flat price. I'm too old to qualify. If I weren't, I would go for it. They give the $ back if unsuccessful. It is worth looking into.

Thanks Tina111 and mamom15.

We went through following diagnosing procedures
SA of my husband-normal

HSG-normal(my RE said you dont need to go   for Lap as there is only less than 10%cahce that you have any problem.)

Bllod work
day3 fsh-8.3
day3 estradiol-37
day9 progesterone-1.2
day9 estraiol-166

Vaginal ultrasound-normal with one 17.3 mm follicle on CD10

Day 21 progesterone-11.3
lining-10.3 on day 10

We dont have ivf insurance only it covers diagnose procedures and one iui per year .
So we want to go to india for that where its somewhat cheaper than here.

I just want to know what your RE said abt ivf success rate in unexplained infertility?
OR what should be right path to follow...so that we can know whats the best way to proceed in this situation?

thanks again for your support.

Tina is right.  If your insurance covers everything then go with IVF.  I have unexplained infertiloty and after 1 Chlomid cycle and 1 IUI cycle we decided to proceed with IVF.  They did my husbands semen analysis.  Because of your age you have a very high possibility with IVF .  good luck!

I guess everything really depends on your insurance and your financial situation.  If your insurance covers the IVF, I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. If it doesn't and you have to pay out of pocket, that may be a different story.  Most insurances will pay for diagnostics to determine causes for infertility (after 1 yr). But, many do not cover IVF or related expenses. Also, have they done a semen analysis on your husband? If not, you should have one done b4 trying anything.
