Beta 9 chance of chemicle pregnancy

On Saturday I got a call and the nurse told me I was pregnant, but had a beta level of 9.  She said she thinks it's a chemicle pregnancy and there's a slim chance that it's not.  I got retested early this morning and still no call back.  I hope they don't forget to call me.  Has any one of you had a very low beta and it ended up not being a chemicle pregnancy?  I need some kind of hope even though I know it's not good.

Hello and welcome to the forum, I'm from England and we get our tests done like yourself, urine and a hpt(home preg kit) beta is the hcg count which I think mainly in US and canada is done by blood test. In England we can have  afollow up blood test after the hpt result to see if the hcg level is rising and at what level. My best wishes to you. Also my love to rghkah38 at your difficult time, been there, not pleasant but found so much support and advice from ladies here who have experienced the same, hang in therexxx lots love melissax

My Beta level stayed at a 9, so it was a chemical pregnancy.  They want me to retest on the 12th to see if my number goes down.

The beta level is your HCG level.  A chemical pregnancy is an early miscarrige, which I just found out that I have.

Also I am new to this forum.  How do I see if someone posts back to me-do I just have to go back into my post and look or is there a way that I'm notified?

I'm confused what is a beta level and a chemical pregnancy?  I just did my transfer yesterday and all they told me was I'd be doing a urine and a blood test in 14 days.  They never mentioned those words to me.
