prometrine

I am taking prometrine once a day and a lot of times a feel very light headed and dizzy from it.  Now the ivf nurse called me today saying I need to take 2 at night.  I don't know how I am going to do this.  Is this happening to anyone else?

The ivf nurse at first wanted me to take 1 in the morning and 1 at night.  I mentioned to her that their is no way I can pysically function at work if I take it in the morning and then she told me to take two at night.  I can tell you one thing I fall a sleep fast taking 2.

I've also take prometrium, and at night only. Like Diane, I had to make sure I took it right before bed, otherwise I would feel extremely dizzy. It said on the info that came with the pills that that's one of the side effects. Just make sure you take it right before bed and you should be fine :-)

I'm not sure if it's the same thing - but I was on 200mg oral prometrium for the first 13 weeks. I took it at night so I never noticed any side effects except for the one day I forgot to take it at night and took it in the morning.  Then I was super dizzy and probably shouldn't have driven!    So then are you going to have to take it multiple times during the day? I literally took it right before I went to sleep and was fine.  Good luck.
