I feel for you.... Maybe if you take the test as a confirmation that AF is coming it won't be as hard??? It's just never easy... but at least the test would give you some kind of answer.
I'm with 10_07 on that - if you'll feel less stressed, then test! If you are NOT pregnant, then I think not testing is giving you more false hope than actually testing and seeing that lousy single line :( I'm sorry you have to go through this, best wishes :)
I did Menopur and got 6 follies. By my RE said to wait a month and try Lupron to see if I could get more than 6. Instead I totally crashed and burned on Lupron. So when AF comes, it is back to Menopur and probably enough follistim to choke a horse. I have had 3 MCs and so the thought is that I need to just land on a good egg and that if 1/2 my eggs are bad then 6 is not enough to yield in one retrieval.
Good luck tomorrow :)
I know what you mean... my hubby is always so optimistic but it sometimes drives me nuts! In theory yes, if ovulation was delayed a week, then AF would be delayed a week, but with all the meds we use it can delay it a bit longer. I would wait it out a few more days, but if it will put your mind at ease, test!
So will they change your protocol next time around? Just curious as to how things work. I am 99.5% sure that my test will be negative tomorrow and am trying to decide if I want to try a round of IVF.
Hope AF gets here soon!
