6 weeks and nothing on ultrasound

on my 6 week ultrasound they didnt see anything, should i be worried? this is my 4th pregnancy and i had 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic and im so scared something isnt right. my hcg levels were almost 4000. but my progesterone was a little low. has anyone gone through this and then a week later they saw something on the ultrasound? im also spotting but they dont know why.

i went to the dr today and the shot didnt work and my hcg levels were just about 7500, so i had to go and get the shot again today and they doubled the dose, my dr said if this shot doesnt work this time, i will have to get surgery and they will have to remove my tube.

i was really mad when i got the shot, i kept saying why did this happen again? am i ever going to have a baby? and now all i can do is sit here and wait for my body to get back to normal, so i can try again.

darn.  I just had the shot 6 days ago.  My numbers initially went down, but I got a call today they have started to stablize and they want to give me another shot.  Stay strong, I was so mad the day I got that shot.  I almost cussed everyone out at the RE's office for no reason at all.  Just upset I guess....   Take care and let us know your progress.

well i have an ectopic pregnancy, and i just got home from getting the shot, i had to get 2 shots in the butt. my dr also told me that my tubes are blocked and i need ivf

i had the same problem todai i havent passed anyclots cervix is still completly closed and im bleedin had a u/c and they saw nuthing im wirried cuz i had a m/c in late jan

there was nothing on the u/s and they dont want to give me anything for progesterone because they think it might be in my tubes, and i already had 1 ectopic.

The radiologist I saw a few weeks ago said your hcg needs to be 1700 in order to see ANYTHING.  I'd be asking for another ultrasound if nothing was seen at 4000.  Good luck!

I'd also be asking for a progesterone supplement if your level is low.

I don't think they always see a heartbeat at 6 weeks, but they should see a yolk sac.  Did they see anything and what did your Obgyn say about it?  I think they should have you scheduled for another u/s.  There could be a possibility that you ovulated later then you think and are not quite 6 weeks.
