taking clomid ovulation but no period

Hi, I'm new to this and I just been wondering if there's other people like me and actually conceived.  I'm 27 trying to conceive for almost 2 years now. I took clomid for 3 cycles now and I did ovulate twice.  How ever I never got a period after.  I had to take provera for it, and this is my 3rd cycle and I'm on cd 45 an no af yet.  My doctor wants dh to get a sa before giving me clomid again.  Is this normal? on my own I only ovulate luike once or twice a year due to thyroid issues but my thyroid is now under control.  Please help.

I'd absolutely do the SA-- no sense putting yourself through all sorts of drugs and procedures if there is something that needs to be corrected with your DH.

I'd also challenge your Dr. to give you something different-- Femara or Follistim if you aren't getting results on Clomid-- clomid isn't good over time and the other meds may work better for you overall.

Good luck!  There are oodles of other things to try, clomid is just the beginning.
