unpdate on my twins

Had my ultrasound this morning. I am at 34wks today. Both girls are doing very well. They are 4.8 and 4.3 lbs. Fluid levels are good, cervix is good. Overall all growth is good. Talked to Dr today about delivery. Both heads are down. He does not think I should have a problem to deliver vaginally. the tightenings/ contractions used to be only on the top of my belly right under the rib cage, but now I have felt some below by the pubic bone. He said since its getting closer to delivery thats why. My gestational diebetes is under control for the most part, runs little high after lunch so have to take 1.25 glyburide in morning. Other than that, dr says just wait. I have been released by the specialist now and my regular OB will be the one to take over. I was seeing both for about 3 months. So there are any signs of labor, it won't be stopped, I will go forward with delivery.I am very happy that I made it this far with my uterine didephys we were unsure if the uterus will expand enough. Thanks to encouragements on this site, and from friends and family I made it thru.

I loved the dr who treated me and thier staff are very nice too. Compared to other IVF clinics in the Bay Area they are at the high end as far as expences. My insurance does not cover IVF, so in total for my first IVF cycle, and 2 FET cycles I paid them around $18000. Including storage of the remaining embryoes. That does not include the meds. Yes I would recommend this office. Dr also told me about accupuncture and that helped me also. Good luck to u.

thanks for sharing your story. I noticed that you are in CA, and I was wondering if you don't mind telling me which clinic you went for your IVF. I live in bayarea too. I am 10dpIUI. I am thinking about moving on to IVF if nothing happens this cycle and am looking for a clinic that has good reputation and track record.

thanks and good luck on the delivery!
