Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy
I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on 9-11. I have had small amount of vaginal bleeding thursday and friday.This morning it is bright red and almost as heavy as a regular period.Is this normal? I am a little worried that i over did it yesterday.

Thanks for all the information. I had a positive ovulation test yesterday morning and a negative last night we did bd in between the positive and negative test so i hope we didnt miss our chance this month
Yes, that's definitely possible. I ovulated about a week after my lap last month.

I did nothing but rest after i posted and i stopped bleeding yesterday. today i am on cd 15 is it possible i will or have ovulated even though i had these procedures done less than a week ago
i should add -
since the lap was close to ovulation my doc put me on the pill. i stopped taking it the day of the lap (tuesday) and was bleeding on and off until friday when i actually started my period.

Yeah, I should probably add that I had my lap done on CD6, so I was still bleeding a little from my period. Not really sure how much of the blood was from the lap and how much of it was from my period, but I basically had light bleeding the first day and spotting for another day after that.
I did not have much bleeding after my lap. Perhaps you can make a follow-up call to the hospital nurse.

On what day in your cycle did you have the procedures done? I had some bleeding after my lap too, but it wasn't really heavy. I agree with texasangel, just try to take it a bit easy over the next couple of days, and hopefully it will stop again soon.
when are you supposed to start your period?
i was told when i had my lap - that if you are filling a pad every few hours that you need to call the doctor. did you get any post op paperwork??
you could have overdone it yesterday. try to take it easy for a few days - it takes that long to completely recover.
