IUI - have a few questions

First of all what does 2ww mean? HCG shot is that the ovidrel? If you get ovidrel shot can this give you pregnancy symptoms?? And can using Ovidrel give you false positive?

Thank you to anyone that responds :)

Good luck to you. I was able to concieve on my first IUI and my dh's count and morphology was low. I only produced one mature egg too. I did trigger and got my BFP 11 days after trigger and it was a true BFP. My RE recommends waiting 12 days after trigger to test but I couldn't wait another day :) Good luck to you!

THANKS!!

There really is nothing fun about the 2WW ...11 years of TTC and our first medicated and Monitored IUI .... Spouse sperm count was 160 mill / 90% motility... I had one follicle...you would think one of the 160 mill would find the darn egg!!!

I find the ovidrel takes 7 days to leave my body but everyone is different .. you should have an accurate result in 12-14 days .. and I get pregnancy symptoms from it too .. good luck!

I done know much about iui, but 2ww is two week wait. An ovidrel is a trigger shot I believe that is hcg so it might give you a false positive you would have to wait at least 14 days from when you administered the shot and then test.

Good Luck
