Hi sorry for delay in answering. She is on the highest dose I think. It  does seem to help because without it she would never get out of bed to be honest.

I think she has fibromyalgia as well as the cut nerve in her stomach. She used to get burning in her legs before her hysterectomy.

Have you seen your GP since your last post?x

Hi just read your post. I read you get every two weeks roughly, headache, FEVER, body ache, vomiting and diarrhea....

I dont think there is a fever in FMS.

Have you been tested for Lupus?

Also i note you live SA have you been tested for the parasites you can get in Africa and other things?

It was just the fever I thought odd.

My daughter has chronic really chronic IBS and also a nerve problem in her stomach caused by a cut nerve when she had surgery for her hysterectomy.

anyway she was put on LYRICA and since she has been on it, her IBS has completely gone. She is now putting on a bit of weight, looks so much more healthy too. Before the Lyrica she could not eat anything or be stressed without it kicking off her IBS.

I read that there is now a link with Lyrica and IBS as a medication. I did find research about it, but since i lost my computer and all my links went too.

IBS is anightmare if you have it really bad.

Big hugs. Mariax

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

The headaches along with accompanying bowel symptoms warrant evaluation. Inadequate eating can cause hypoglycemia and the resultant headache. Similarly lack of sleep can also aggravate headaches. I hope any visual defects have been ruled out. Headaches can be tension headaches, the commonest of the lot, the others are migrainous headaches, those caused due to brain disorders, disorders of the eyes , neck or ears to name a few. To find a cure you need to consult your primary care physician for proper assessment.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Thank you so much for the advice, as I have been diagnosed with fibromalgia and IBS and am sure that the headache and diahrea is related.
