I hope you get some answers from your GP.
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I shall be visiting my GP this week and find out what is wrong.
The thing that bothers me is black sticky stools since 2 weeks and my acidity problem. Me being overweight is another reason i feel.
I definitely have something going on here.
Shall keep you posted.
Thanks,
Wishing you happiness and good health
This test is used to test for many things, from infection after surgery to auto-immune diseases, to heart disease,to inflammatory bowl disease, to arthritis etc. It can show up in women who are pregnant or on birth control to people who are obese. It will elevate if there is severe acute infection or inflammation from chronic lupis. What I'm getting at is that it is just a general test for inflammation and infection but is not specific enough to detect any particular disease. What your value indicates depends on what they were using for. What were they looking for specifically in you. What other tests should be done next also depends on why they ran a CRP in the first place. I think a long talk with your doctor is in order.
I hope this helps some.
