Hello,
Thanks, I did see a Rheumatologist who told only tested my Rheumatoid leve which was pretty normal and reffered me to a ortho b/c my feet where turning in at the arches, he also reffered me to the neuro doctor. All I know at this point is that I am feeling worse everday it seems. My good days are getting few and far between! I use braces to help me stablize my limbs that hurt. I blew my left knee 1yr ago and had knee surgery and it is not recovered yet, so I wear a knee brace everyday on that. The ortho gives me Cort shot every 6 months or so but that only helps a little.... I hope that they make a DX soon b/c I am scared to death. I don't feel like myself anymore, I fell 100 years old and am only 36.. Sorry if this seems like a poor me letter
Yes, your feet and ankles can get sore from Fibro. Just about anywhere on your body can get sore and painful. You mentioned you see a Neurologist. Technically, only a Rheumatologist can diagnose Fibromyalgia. Although a Neurologist probably should be able to diagnose Fibro, Rheumatologist have set the standards for diagnosing Fibromyalgia, so it's best that you have a Rheumatologist actually make the diagnosis.
You need to find a way to get into see one to truly know if you have fibromyalgia. See if you can get a referral. My Rheumatologist works closely with my Neurologist. They work together because some of my symptoms overlap.
