Citalopram

Hello has anybody tried these anti-depresants? I wasnt sure if i wanted to take a anti-dep again as the last few ive tried have slight and reversed affects so wasnt to sure and also i thought it would only mask the problem. but after huge waves of depression due to the lack of energy, fatiuge ect i was totaly exhasted so i started to take this new citalopram the doctor prescribed. I have been taking them for 4 weeks now and already am felling really good.
Infact i cant belive the vast improvement. I have had no migranes,no brain fog, no dizziness am thinking on my feet my vocab has speeded back up and i can thin clearer than i have in the past 2 years. my memory has improved by a good 70% AND i havent had to nap through the day, sleeping much better. still getting the aches but only occasionaly that i can deal with. but all in all this has given me a huge chunk of my life back this week. am still taking things easy but i have so much more energy. going back to my gp for more tomorrow and i hope to god they keep working. fingers crossed...has anybody else had success with this anti d

happy hugs
zz

Hi, I take this anti depressant and it's working well for me.  I've been taking it for about 2 years now.  I think it works well for my depression.  I take a couple of pain meds now because my pain is kind of out of control. I was diagnosed with fibro 11 years ago. I also have arthritis and degen. disc disease, so my pain isn't controlled by the Celexa.  As I said though, the depression is pretty well controlled by it.  Hope this helps.

I haven't tried this.  It is an SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) and its brand-name is Celexa.  Maybe someone will recognize it by that name.

I'm so happy for you finding some relief with this med.  That's great.  I hope that it continues to work for you...I love hearing a good story.

Take care zz and stay safe.
