I think you need to be honest about what happened to any new Dr. Just explain what you can to them. You need to keep the lines of communication open and truthful. It's unfortunate that this happened, but you know you did nothing wrong and being honest and open will show that to your new Dr. I really hope!! Good Luck! I wish I new something better to tell you, but I don't. Good Luck!
Thank you both for responding to my post. Of coarse I will be looking for a new doctor but am really worried that this situation will effect how another will treat me. Do I tell them about this, will they put me back on my previous pain management program or confer with those that have failed to look at the cold hard evidence of my test results being wrong.I am so worried about all of this and shouldn't have to be if you know what i mean. But I am running out of time as far as needing my pain meds refilled and just am at a loss. Sorry for rambling on. Just wanted to say Thanks to both of you for caring enough to give some input into my nightmare. Sincerely, Connie.
Hello,
I am sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. I know that those tests are not always accurate. I would consult with the pain management community if you haven't already to see what their thoughts on this matter is because I am not really sure what rights, if any, you have in this situation. I don't think they can leave you without a months supply of medications however. You may need to begin looking for a new doctor. Good luck to you.

OMG! I really don't know what to do other than maybe asking a lawyer. I'm sorry you went through this! I hope it all works out for you!
