Hi Shar,
Kit gave you some pretty good advice. When I'm having a bad day, I remind myself that this is temporary (my favorite word = )) ) and it will eventually pass. I also have hope that there are treatments out there and I can tell you that every single day, I find new research on fibro and CFS. I'm making progress with the treatment that I'm on right now, but it took me years to find it. If you would like some links for the latest treatments recommended by the experts, please let me know and I will send them to you.
Best,
PlateletGal
Hi Shar,
I've been thru where you're 14 yrs ago and I totally get how you're feeling......a chronic illness not only affect us, as patient, in every aspect of our lives, but also affects our loved ones as they feel helpless while watching us suffer.
The first thing I knew I had to do is take one day at a time, and baby steps. I realized that there's not effective treatment for ME/CFS and FMS, and I decided that these monster diseases are not taking my spirit. I've been hangint tight on this thought ever since. It helped me a lot to stay positive.
I don't allow negative emotions get piled up inside me.....I cry when I need to, or scream my head off when it gets too much. No!!! I don't mean to behave like a mad woman. But it is necessary not to keep it all in until we explode.
Know that all of us are in the same boat....and we are here to support each other.
Please remember that you're never alone, ok? You're more than welcome to leave me messages if you need to vent, or just someone who will listen.
Hang in there.
In friendship,
Kit
