Celebrex and Mobic are still on the market and they are Cox2 inhibitors, like Vioxx. I have been on all three and loved the Celebrex, but got scared off by the Vioxx deaths, so went to Relafen. Keep your eyes on the Rx world. They're coming out with a Vioxx replacement, but don't know when.
Has anyone had experience with Pregablin?
i.e with some research, you may be better off than you ever have been before!
Most of my relief has been by removing things and "behavioral" changes like keeping my feet up and knowing when I need to. In other words, there may be ways for you to improve without using drugs. Some folks do well with accupuncture and naturalpath. (I didn't, but that's unusual to respond as poorly as I did.)
It was the worst thing I had ever been though. It's better now and I'm (hopefully) clean enough to start over. But where, I have no idea I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on getting some relief.
Good luck with the detox...and finding something that does work. I thought vioxx was still on the market but more controlled. That's crumby. I've met a few doctors now who think that if a drug has an intolerable side effect, just add another drug to counter it. ...And a few people (at one conference in particular) where it was impossible to sort out which of the symptoms that were making them miserable, were their original symptoms and which were from the drugs. I haven't dealt with detox, is it hard? Hope it goes much better soon!
