EBV, CFS and what else?

What test's should I request now that I have been diagnosed with CFS and EBV. There must be something else causing me to feel this horribly. I have an appointment with a Neurologist this next week, what test should I ask for ?

You're headed in the right direction with seeing a Neurologist - hopefully they will be able to prescribe something for so many of your symptoms.

It's wonderful it is to just get a diagnosis and then to find a medication that will really work!  It's like finally having some reassurance that you aren't crazy and you aren't imagining all of these symptoms!

Best of luck to you !

when I reread it, my previous message sounded terse. I'm not all that familiar with EBV, but CFS will make you feel horrible, trust me. Until very recently, CFS was a diagnosis of exclusion, so hopefully your neuro will check you over and order tests to rule out any other disorder. The XMRV test is still in it's infancy but there is a strong corrolation between the retrovirus and both CFS and prostate problems.

Have you thought about XMRV?
