Heart Disease and CFS

Hello everyone,
Just curious if anyone else on here has had problems with their heart after being diagnosed with CFS.  I failed my stress test miserably and have to have a catherization procedure and while researching about that, came across an article on the Epstein Barr virus/CFS and heart problems.  I had no health problems whatsoever until 4 years ago when I got so sick and when I think I caught the EBV.  Then all these problems cropped up. Also, having terrible numbness/tingling in my arms and legs, especially the left side. My cardio doc said he didn't think it was related to my heart problem but I also haven't been diagnosed with fibro, so am curious about this also? A previous doctor suggested tesing for MS.
I am truly starting to get so confused. Thanks for letting me post because someone might make sense of all this.
Colleen

Hello PlateletGal and VaBreeze,
Thank you for your support and information. I had actually pulled up one of those articles myself when researching and that was why I posted the question. I am having my catherization on April 14th and if there is blockage, they will put in a stent or balloon. If there is no blockage, then I don't know what. I am thinking of printing out these articles and taking them to my doctor's office this week.  So thank you so much!

Thanks for that information PlateletGal.  I was thinking of the 'balloon' procedure, but see that this is more towards a diagnostic procedure.

CFS patients have what is called "diastolic cardiomyopathy". You may want to check out these links (which are posted in our health pages) and/or google, "Dr. Paul Cheney"  + "diastolic cardiomyopathy".
