No one can tell you whether you have fibromyalgia, via the Internet. Generally a diagnosis of fibromyalgia requires your doctor to run extensive tests to rule out other possible causes for the symptoms you are having.

I had that whole thing. I thew my back out boweling afer 2 months after a c-section. I was in a lot of pain for about 2 years .I started getting headachs and my whole body hurt . My jaw my throat ect.. I went to an ENT who did test and said my ANA was high then I took all lupus and rumitoid tests every thing normal except for the ana and esr . (this goes back 5 1/2 years. over that time my leg was numb and sayed that way for about 2 months. I used a roll on arthritis to numb the buzzing.Evertime I had a b.m. it would buzz down my leg. One dr. said fribomyaliga and gave me ambian and I lived on them for about a year. Ran to to dr. to do a mri to rule out MS. After that I saw a new back dr. who gave me a steriod injection in my back and the next day I was pain free for about 3 months I had to get them a couple of more times and for the last year I haven taken any. My back is a good 75% better. I thought it was fribro and I still get fleeting stabbing pains especially if you get depressed. I think it goes hand in hand. I think if you are in pain you get depressed and if you are depressed you get many symtoms you wouldnt get if you were only hurt. Example you sprain your ankle.. you know its your ankel and you might be upset but, not depressed once you get depressed you stomach hurts, headaches the ones behind your eyes, stabbing pains not sleeping, running to the computer evertime you have a new pain.-what do you think?
Fibromyalgia causes pain and symptoms on both sides and upper and lower body. It could be the start of it. It usually starts up after an illness or accident (injury). In the PC address put in "common symptoms of fibromyalgia" to see what else matches your symptoms. If you think you have it, bring a copy of the symptoms from the site (highlight yours) to your doctor and ask for a referral to a reumatoligist. Good luck with your search and healing

I just wanted to add that most of my symptoms are on my left side. Ever since I hurt my back on that side and (I believe) developed TOS things just sort of derailed and my whole left side is now affected.
