Undiagnosed need help
My question is for a friend....My friend suffers from extreme naseau, knotting in her stomach everytime she eats, diarrhea, extreme fatigue, and now numbness tingling in hands and feet. She has been through the ringer in testing...She doesn't have Crohs, Celiacs, IBS, and the list goes on...Is there any suggestions anyone could give me on what this could possibly be? I am so scared for her she is now down to 114 pds from over 200 pds in the past year...She is wasting away to nothing b/c she can't keep anything down!!! Please Help
Is it possible that she is taking a medication that is doing this or a combo of them interacting with each other? I have had that with the combo. By themselves one or the other is fine but together I am suddenly poleaxed!
Also could she be a closet user of constipation relieving pills? It's a type of weight loss disorder that has similar symptoms. I knew a woman who took those & made herself sick. She was found to have an attention graving personality disorder of some kind. She also was always exercising too much, another weight loss disorder. She eventually wasted away & after being sent to a rehab type place for eating disorders, she passed. No one knew about everything (as she lied) until it was too late. Death by intentional starvation.
I hope this isn't it & your friend finds an answer to her medical issues. Tell her not to give up, it took 5 years and 2 Mayo Clinic Dr's to finally start figuring out my health. It's tough for those of us who have unusual symptoms or unquantifiable diagnosis. But never give up looking because you are the only advocate your body has. Don't let it down!
