How many of you truly accept your diagnosis or do you want to know about more?

I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for over 10 years now. I've had health problems my entire life. I've been all over Louisiana to just about every Dr for everything but cancer and prostate checks.
How many of you really understand what fibromyalgia is? Have you just come to terms with the diagnosis and accept the situation because of exhaustion from all the labs, x-rays, drugs and what pure misery that you are going through? I know exactly what that's like to go through. If you would like to get more information about it and talk to me about the situation and symptoms you have experienced but still don't quite understand it, I would be happy to help anyone who is comfortable with talking to me. I'm not a Dr and being a patient in my opinion is giving up. I can help with so many different things. Please contact me if you would like to know what I'm talking about here. I'm not saying that I can cure you of anything but I may be of help to you as to asking the right questions and seeing Drs that can do more for you than just Lyrica Neurontin and narcotic drugs.

Instead of asking others to offer you explanations, you may want to do your own research on line using only trusted references (not just blogs). Be proactive. Take responsibility for your treatment and most importantly do your research and never stop questioning and searching for an answer!
