Is this part of Fibromyalgia?

I was diagnosed with Fribro a few months ago after many tests and years of pain.
Lately I've been getting pain in my middle back - just below my bra line. (all along the T4 - T7 area I think) When I use my arms - as in cooking, cleaning, reaching for things, driving etc - it causes the pain to be worse and I get tightness in my chest. I used to think I was having some kind of heart problem but the Drs all say it's not my heart (I've seen several Drs for this)
The back Dr I went to said the back pain is from the Fibro. Does anyone else have the pain in that area? I've had MRI and xrays of my back and it shows my discs are fine.
When it hurts, it also feels swollen and tight. It hurts to lay down and to sit back against a chair.
Also, when I walk, my legs feel heavy like they're full of lead. My right foot is tingly sometimes too. And when I walk, my shoulders feel like they have bricks on them and I get tired out easy.
I've had lots of tests and all the Drs say Fibro.
I have to go for physical therapy for my back.
Anyone else do physical therapy and have the pain in that area and did it help? Any suggestions on what to do for pain?

One other thing, I have GERD, and fatty liver. Anyone have this and can give me suggestions on what to eat or not eat?

Thanks for any help

All day today I felt this way! The bra line hurt on my back! It felt like it was jammed up or something but I cracked the heck out of it and still no relief. My legs will feel like led! My arms can to sometimes, but mostly I notice my arms are sensitive to touch on the skin! Oh and I had shortness of breath! It's really painful! I hate this!

Yes, mine is too but mostly lower. When it hurts, it's hard to breath. It feels like I'm laying on my stomach and something heavy is sitting on my back and squeezing all the air out of me. It's so hard to breath. I get so tired out easy because of it. The Drs aren't telling me anything. It's so frustrating.

Sounds like it is part of the FMS and is muscles involved.  Have had that on and off myself for some time.  The key of your post that caught my attention was "bra line".  Yes, although mine is from the bottom of it to the top of it.

With the Fibro and GERD I also find just bending down to pick up something will cause reflux....no matter how careful I am with my diet.  It's soooo annoying. That and the horrible hip pain. I try to eat bland foods and not a lot at once, besides the NOT bending over part, and I take Protonic(?spelling) at night, and soft chew anti acids by day when needed.  Most day I am fine with the nighttime pill.  But everyone needs Pizza once in a while.
I have also found this online book that I downloaded for free....it's about natural healing...well that is putting it rather simple, but I will post the url so you can take a look if you are interested. Basely, it tell what doctors and drug dealers <-- do not want us to know.

Hi IceDragon. Thanks for replying. Yeah, the heavy feeling in arms in legs just wears me all out. The Dr said I need to lose weight because of my fatty liver. I'm going to try the Mayo Clinic Diet and see what happens. I'm also going to try to get more exercise. It will be hard because of the pain but worth trying. I don't like to take drugs so am trying to find natural things or suppliments to take for the pain and other things.
I also have a curve in my spine which may be part of the pain.
Thanks againg for the reply and hope you have a very nice Easter.

It is all from the Fibro by the sounds of it. I go through that every day, the pain in the ribs/chest is particularly nasty I know & the tiredness drives you crazy. I have had countless x-rays, & 4 m.r.i's all to no avail - they showed nothing in particular. The arm weakness and the heavy tired legs were some of the 1st things I felt. It took them over 30 years to diagnose me. I also have Scoliosis (a right-hand Thoracic Dorsal spine curve) & asthma to boot. I had physio for years and although it only helped briefly in my case, its still worth a try. They have told me they can do no more for me. GERD is another common problem in people with Fibro - I find that potatoes, tomatoes, Bananas, Chilli & hot spices of most types, too much fruit juice, cheese, and even too much milk are the main culprits in my case.  Hope this helps.
