Pain turning into depression

This may be long winded but I've seen enough Dr.s that I thought I would give this a stab. Diagnosed years ago with Fibromyalgia which being in the medical field doesn't really fly as a diagnosis. But, unless someone is smarter than the professionals I've been seeing then I welcome any advice. So, here are the diagnosis and symptoms. Raynauds syndrome, Tmj , c6 c7 impingement and bulging but no compression (per MRI), thoracic narrowing ,bulging, and herniations t9-t12 radiating pain on the bra line from back to front (no gall bladder) , I have had in the last 3 weeks  thoracic MRI, Cervical MRI, RUQ ultrasound (negative),Abdominal CT (negative), Sed rate Normal, Occipital Cervical Neuralgia. My question. I have such severe pain 10/10 pain that my neurosurgeon states is not related to any of this MRI results  yet I have numbness and tingling in my hands and heaviness in upper arms. Headaches I just want to slam my head against a wall. shoulder pain and diffuse mid and upper back pain. this is not normal by any means. I refuse to take any meds except ibuprophen until i get an answer so pain med seeking can't be used to stop looking for answers. So I suffer without diagnosis.  I beg for help or suggestions. Is impingement not considered pain worthy? or does it have to have compression and what is the difference ?  solve my delemia and I owe you my life.  Depression sitting in and I am losing myself in pain.

Hi there,I don't know that this will help you at all but I thought I would share. I have 3 narrowing & 2 bulging vertabraes in my neck & it is giving me terrible electrical shooting pain in my back shoulder blade area & down my left arm. My dr says no compression & nothing can be done until there is compression. If/when there is compression, they will operate but not til then as it is too risky.

I applaud you for pushing thru! Hang in there.

I have many issues with my spine from the neck all the way down to my lumbar region, which includes nerve damage and a numb foot. I fought the idea of being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia myself because my initial though was that it was a wastebasket diagnosis. After a lot of research on my own and meeting many many people who suffer from chronic pain issues I know now that this is NOT true. This diagnosis allows you to be treated. The best doctors to seek out are "Fibro Friendly" Rheumatologists or Pain Management doctors.

Because you have secondary issues, you may be treated differently than other people with Fibro. If you had FM with nothing showing on an MRI or any tests your Rheumatologist or treating doctor would offer you a different pain management plan. For someone who has overlapping conditions such as OA or spinal issues and nerve problems such as yourself the doctors will treat you more aggressively. Just my thoughts. Good luck.
