Doctor With Fibro Knowledge

Is there anyone out there who can refer a doctor who has at least half the knowledge of what fibromyalgia is in the Philadelphia, Pa area?  I believe that I will be looking to see another physician soon.  I have called the center where Dr. T works but I can't afford it as they don't take insurance.  By the way The Chronic Fatigue Center is in King of Prussia, PA.  Thank you

Delores

I am a new patient of the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in Philadelphia, PA.  You do have to pay for your visits and any treatments (e.g. IV) upfront and then the center gives you the appropriate diagnostic codes and information to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  My insurance company reimbursed me for some of it, but it is still rather expensive.
You can buy the book "From Fatigued to Fantastic" for $10 on Amazon and the treatment is outlined in the book and much of the natural supplements recommended you can buy off Dr. Teitelbaum's website. If you need prescription treatments like anti-viral for long periods of time for a virus (like in my case), this is where you may have trouble finding a traditional doctor to treat you sufficiently.  It depends what's causing your fibro and fatigue- in my case it's chronic and reactivated infections, which I never would have found out if I had not gone to the Center.

Warmest Regards,
