Still Fibro?

Hello!
I was dx with Fibromyalgia 2 years ago. I am having new symptoms - blurred vision, dizzy & have noticed extreme fatigue after being exposed to heat - I feel normal once I cool off. Do these new symptoms still appear to be in line with Fibro or should I be reevaluated?

Hi all - Just joined today.  I cannot tolerate heat and really don't remember a time that I could.  Have Fibro and Hypothyroid.  Glad to know it's not just me!  Thanks for the posts.  They help!

Hi lotusflower611 & waywardridge. Welcome both to medhelp.

There are a lot of medications like Lyrica and antidepressants that may
cause blurred vision and this may just appear as a new symptom anytime.

Fatigue may be attributed to high tartaric acid, very prevalent in Fibro, specially if you are consuming many carbs. Apple cider vinegar and very low carb diet will remedy this over time.

Fatigue could also be due to an underlying low thyroid function which encompasses ALL the symptoms you mentioned!
You may want to do Dr. Barnes Basal Temperature Test. Very simple!
Just search for it. It must be done with precision as instructed and it's very accurate, except when having an infection.
Low thyroid also causes most sufferers to tolerate temperatures in a very narrow range up or down a little form 70 F.
(It is a good idea to have this ruled out, but note that thyroid blood tests may not be accurate. They may only indicate blood levels, not actual function in the cells.)
Heat intolerance is also common in FMS, when there's neurotransmitter dysregulation.
You may ask your doctor for a neurotransmitter assessment.

These are complex conditions and unfortunately, conventional medicine is
not very successful in their dx and treatment.
Please post again or feel free to message me if you need any further help or information.

Note that this is not intended as a substitute for medical advice.

Love & Light
