Mouth symptoms

Does anybody get any mouth symptoms with their FM?
Over the past 2 months i have noticed the following symptoms (all on the right side)
Tingling tongue (sometimes all across the back too)
Feeling like something is stuck behind my tonsil
Tingling round the corner of my lips

They can occur all together, or sometimes i get the throat sensation on its own.

When i get all 3 symptoms together it seems to come the following day after i've been drinking (this also usually coincides with sleeping in a different bed, could it be something to do with my neck?). My neck on the right is always very painful and also feels hard.
I get a lot of FM pain down my right hand side, from head to toe.
Anyone heard of anything like this?

Your symptoms do sound familiar with others reports of these sensations.  I also get tingling on the tip of my tongue and around the corner of my mouth.  It doesn't last long though.  I believe it's just part of the neuropathy that seems to come with the illness.  You may want to check with a physician about the probs. with your neck as it could be something going on there.

Otherwise, as PlateletGal mentioned...you may do better to discontinue drinking since it seems to make your symptoms worse.  I know I have FMS and I don't do well with alcohol at all.

Take care and hope you feel better soon.

Since you get these symptoms the day after you've drink....I would consider quitting drinking altogether. One thing I've noticed about CFS patients (probably fibro as well) is that we have an intolerance to three things:

alcohol
gluten
& surgery
