I learned the how-tos from a dvd by Karen Voygt at home since 6 yrs ago. Sometimes, as much pain as the 'aftermath', my body craves it. By the way, I started out doing only 5 minutes tops.. Hope you continue to benefit from it...actually, many researchers point yoga as benefitial to FMS. How many days do you go in a week?
The day after my yoga class . I felt much better . I told the instr.my issues . And they altered the stretch . I will def. go back . The burning that pain meds. did not touch feel better . Plus the meditation with movement was great. The time went by very fast . can't wait till i know enough to do it at home safely. And don't over do it . Bill
Yes......I do it religiously. That is, when I'm not too weak/fatigue to do it...more often than not I have to force myself to yoga, because my muscles craves it. I do find stretching help easing the pain a bit. Most of all, I will have to do whatever slows down/stops muscle atrophy.
Have you tried it?
