The Lyrica has been wonderful, however i have noticed that is does not seem to work for everyone. i'm hoping that when i switch to the nuraton it will work as well. good luck to you!!! i think it all depends on the dr. i was lucky that my nuero took me seriously from the get go and has found answers for me in just a few weeks!
Hello; How did your appointments go?? Texasgirl the Lyrica is helping? I'm also on the long road of trying to get answers.. I'm glad i found this site, it is therapy when it seems no one else wants to hear about my problems! My hubby doesn't understand that yes it hurts when he rubs my neck or back or squezes my feet.. I feel like I need to find an answer quick i can't continue like this.. Thank you for sharing your experiences it helps in more ways than you know..I am sorry that you are going through all this as well.. Please keep us posted.
He feels pretty confident that it is fibro, however he was hesitate to label me with the diagnosis because i have too many sensory issues that are not indicative with fibro. He said that my blood work showed that i am borderline deficient in B12. he asked if i was a vegetarian and i said no. he gave me a b12 supplement. he also changed my medication from lyrica (no generic and very expensive!!) to nuraton. no MS which i was very concerned about it.
i am still having the severe breast pain. i have had a mammogram and ultrasound. the findings of which show that i have an asymmetric density in the breast that i am having the pain. because of the pain and the fact that my mother had 2 primary breast cancers, they are sending me for an MRI of the breast on february 11. i will do it but am hesitate because i cannot use contrast (i'm allergic to it) so i'm not sure what they can see with out. i have an appt with my gyno tuesday to discuss it further.
thanks it :)
How did your appointment go??? I am sorry I was unable to wish you luck, I was sitting in my appointment with my Rheumatologist all afternoon. Let me know how you are doing when you get a chance.
