heavy feeling

I have had FM for six years and have had pain widespread but today I hurt everywhere.  I feel like I have been run over by a truck , I have no energy.  I have always had headaches but today the back of my head hurts-not like a headache like it feels heavy- actually I feel like that all over-like I could just fall over.  Anybody else ever feel that way?

I agree, I've been that way more than I'd like to admit.  Write down the things that you ate, did, drank, thoughts (negative thoughts or speech), yelling, with the help of somebody that was with you and can remember and help write it all out.  It may show you what is the cause for this major flare up.  Then rest, don't feel guilty for anything, don't make important desitions (sp?) don't drive, or work. Do move around alittle bit every 30 minutes, like walk to another room and back.  Do drink fluids (no caffiene) eat bland foods, take a warm shower only if someone is with you, take magnesium if you have some (very important for muscles, take more magn... then calcium but don't skip calcium all together) EVERYDAY.  Also know, what you learn from this may ease your next flare because you will avoid the triggers that caused it.  Best wishes for a better day.  Sharon
