Do I have Fibro?

This past February, I started experiencing bad headaches that eventually turned into migraines along with dizzyness, severe fatigue, and nausea. I started seeing a neurologist that performed tests, but they all came back negative. I went to my PCP and she performed tests that came back negative. Everyone says I am healthy, so what's the deal? I am still in pain and here it is the beginning of June. I have a boat load of symptoms now that seem to all be connected including slight depression, lack of interest, chronic pain, joint pain, heart palpitations, stiffness in my neck, trembling at times, shaking, cold sweats, and others. Can this be Fibro? I am tired of doctor's saying I am healthy and doing absolutley nothing, the pain has interferred with my life to the point that all I do is stay at home and it's even started to affect my grades in college. Please help!

If you look in our Health Pages area, you'll see a post that says "Newly Diagnosed"...this will give you a sample of other medical problems that should be ruled out, prior to a dx of FMS.

Also, if you feel you may have it, you can google "Co-Cure's Good Doctor List" and see if there is an FMS/CFS specialist in your area.  If not, a good rheumatologist may be able to dx you.  Trembling, shaking and cold sweats can be an indication of hormonal or thyroid issues...as well as some other medical illnesses.

Hope this helps a bit and that you feel better soon.
