Hi there.I know what you are going through. your body can take only so much pain meds. Also keep in mind that high dose meds are very bad for your liver and kidneys.I battle with constant pain in my whole body for the last 10 months.I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus and my central nerve system were attacked.I get musle and nurve pain, sleep disorder, bladder disorder, blur vision and the list goes on.Get yourself a pain pill 100mg SR(TRAMADOL) and take a anti-inflamatory 400mg(INZA) with that, and a musle tension relaxant pill is always welcome.Limit yourself to maximum 40 pain pills per month and the anti-inflamatory you can take every 12 hours with a musle relaxant.Warm baths and physio also help.
Tramadol are prescription drugs, and anti-inflamatory you get over the counter.Get advise from your doctor.I did find over the time that your body get used to a type of medicine.Use the same strenght but another brand.I know how helpless you feel when in pain but give everything a try with the approval of your doctor.Keep the relationship close with your doctor and track your pain. write it down on a paper and rate your pain on a scale 0-10. Tell him where you get the pain and how intence it is.This will give him a good indication.I wish you all the best and keep your mind strong,be positive even when in serious pain. Your mind is a wonderfull thing and are able to override your body.
Let me simplify: how to ask my pain clinic doctor for higher pain med dose without sounding advantage. She has been good to me. AND I am not looking forward to having to increase. I'd rather Quit altogether but it is not possible.
