sleep and pain

Hi,  I was diagnosed with fibro about 3 years ago. I also have lupas and osto-arthritis.
I cannot sleep in my bed due to bone pain mainly in my hips, feet and legs. I also experience a
burning sensation over my body. Almost every night i have to get up and move to to the couch where
I tend to sleep a little better. For pain I'm currently taking Gabapentin, Lyrica, Celebrex, Trazodone
and Tranadol.  I was wondering if anyone is suffering from the same problem and can you give any
tips or suggestions to help me sleep better without pain such as a particular type bedding or any
other ideas. I'm getting desperate, so any help will be greatly appreciated

There's an extra thick special mattress that used to be advertised in Parade Magizine that's in a lot of major Sunday newspapers.  I don't remember the details unfortunately.  It was made specifically for FM.  I do remember someone saying that they swore by it.  So...if you come across something like that it's worth checking out.  Wish I could help more.  Maybe the library will have old copies of the newspapers (the Washington Post definitely carried it.)

Does a small pillow under your feet to elevate them help or hinder?

Well you could get the memory form to sleep on ask your doctor for some hydrocodone it works well for acute pain. Also for sleep try valium or xanax. That is what I do and I am just being  testing due to recent hep c test positive. May God be with you and pray.
