I have found the following treatments helpful for treating CFS:
1. supplements / vitamins / diet
2. homeopathy -- EAV testing (highly recommend, although it is expensive)
3. massage therapy
4. pacing myself and not pushing myself
5. positive thinking / meditation
5 things that have Helped me are
1.Exercise..specifically, Pool therapy & walking
2.massage therapy, but is very important to find a therapist who knows about FM
3.Vitamin levels checked, my D was very low
4.learning how to Not allow anyone to push me
5.talking with people who get me.
Here's one I haven't thought about in a long time. Magnetic mattress pads. I bought one at a Macy's style department store by Homedics. It definitely helped. So I bought a 2nd one, which added another 25%. I liked the sutle but definite sleep improvement, pain reduction, sense of better, enough that I used to pack in it my car and bring it to my parents house when I was staying for several weeks. "Have blanky, will travel?" I've improved enough since, that I don't take it with me anymore.
