water running
what is water running feeling on outside of left leg
this is a not-uncommon report - warm water, or cold water feeling. i had the same, intermittently, on outside of left leg from top of leg to middle of calf. it was at a time when i was dealing with anger issues. it was more of a burning feeling than wet though. some say it's cell phone hip. i don't think it's to be brushed off, cause it's clearly not normal. although not painful i think it's related to emotional energy and emotional issues, which are the root of just about all of our physical ills. i think it's a nerve thing more than, say a skin or muscle thing. it's a messenger - maybe ASK IT what it's telling you.

funny timing on you asking this very question! last week i had brought this up with my family dr last week and he kind of brushed it off. however the neurologist thought this was important to know. after further reading what i get of it is that our nervous system kind of gets out of wack enough that the messages sent to our brain actually makes us think that there is dripping or a "wet spot" somewhere on our bodies. some have it behind their knees, i personally had it running down my back. scareed the crap out of me....my ears had been leaking a foul smelling sticky substance for about a week so i thought something was actually leaking inside of me. Thank goodness for the information on the internet. normally i would have accepted my family doc's assessment. i think i'll do more of my own research in the future. not that my family doc is not good - he's great. just that no one can possibly know everything.

I have had that sensation happen on my left side also!
Have you spoke with a Neurologist yet?
If so have you had any Cats / MRIs?
That's what my doc did my case.
I don't have it all the time,
but I do have it everyday an hour or so.
Let me know what you find out o k?
I'm still learning, going through tests looking for 2nd opinion on my DX. now.
Some one will be along soon who knows a whole lot more then I do,
