worried sick could it be RA?

When. I was about. 10 yrs old I began to have intermittentIn my hips (only while sleeping) if was so bad that I couldn't walk the next morning, and my muscles we're. So sore like they had been cramping all night.

It went away after. About a. Year . Then came back but was also in my back , ankles, one knuckle , feet, neck ,  and wrists. This continued through age 23. I ignored the pain as I. Thought. Maybe I needed a. Different mattress. Or was sleeping wrong .  At one point the pain in my neck was so bad I was convinced I had meningitis . I've had "flare ups" over the years , but it always goes away. , so I didn't see a dr.  But , like now my muscles are so sore )three. Days now). That it hurts to walk.   Also when walking down the stairs my muscles tremble in my legs they are so weak, I'm having to. Take a break even typing this bc my arms are shaking. And my. Arm muscles are like burning they are so. Tired. Its very strange. . I drove 16 hours the day before this "flare up" and it happened after sleeping (the next. Morninfter I got home.   Was only in my upper thighs and bottom , it feels like I've been beaten ,   just sore. This morning its spread to the back of my neck and wrists

Also. Occasionally I run a low grade fever for no. Reason. And (this is. Strange) only one of my.  Knuckles , and one of my ankles. Feel. Like they are. Fractured (not sure how else to explain it) sometimes o feel. Like my ankle is going to snapped feels so weak. And painful.  And when I. Hit my. One knuckle , such as knocking on a door it feels broken.    I.  Can't fly on a plane. Or really sit on a hard surface  without having excrutaing pain in my tailbone . And end up squirming and sitting on the side of my behind because the pain is so bad , and it usually goes up to my back and neck.

Ice also had lots of kidney. Problems and heart palps. And anemia, poor circulation to where my toes and fingers feel like ice. I'm always. Felreezing and wear a coat indoors.

And thoughts are appreciatedWhen I was about 10 yrs old I began to have intermittent

You should really take these symptoms to a doctor, as they could be from a lot of different sources.  RA can be ruled out by blood tests, as can conditions like hypothyroidism, and they will improve with treatment.  It's a good idea to rule these things in or out if they are a possibility and you are facing chronic mystery symptoms.  You can see a rheumatologist to test for RA and similar illnesses and an endocrinologist to test for hypothyroid and other endocrine disorders.  Many clinics also have a general panel that your GP can give you to get you pointed in the right direction, if you can't directly see a specialist.  If you are worried about fibromyalgia, it is usually only diagnosed after the other possibilities have been ruled out.

Good luck; I know it is hard to go to the doctor when you are exhausted and in pain, but if it keeps recurring like this, your peace of mind will improve if you know that it is or isn't RA or something else.
