It could be her tonsil.  One of my tonsils slightly enlarged at one point of my life, and it was extremely aggravating, because it would always rub on the skin back there, and feel like I was trying to constantly swallow it.  I also had swollen lymph nodes at he same time, probably fighting an infection.  Sometimes kids are very active and breathe harder, that's normal.  I could be wrong but this is my hunch.

The lump, as mentioned above, can come from numerous things .. after an allergic reaction that lump can stay there for weeks actually if it is inflammation.  That same lump can be from acid reflux but not really the food there or stuck there .. it can be from the inflammation I believe to the esophagus and the sensation remains there as it tries to reheal itself.

My daughter had a life threatening reaction to nuts in May and was in the ER and she had that lump for about a week and was on Benadryl round the clock to help it go away; also, my bee sting daughter had the same lump for 10days after a bee sting .. so definitely see your Pediatrician and discuss it with him/her,

Cheryl

Hi you don't say how old your daughter is? It could be reflux, as allergies can cause it and also the breathing problems, i would ask for a referral to a peadiatrician to see what is going on. Does she have any other problems i.e coughing, weight, hyperactivity, stomach pains? all could be connected. Sharon x
