Acid reflux rebound?

Hi everyone, I posted yesterday about acid reflux, and I have a question. I took omeprazole in 2021and 2022, after taking it three times a week in months of November 2022 through my last day was on January 20th 2023. My acid reflux has started to come back in June and still here now. I had no problems in months of February through May. Is it possible for my reflux to come back because i was not taking omeprazole in those months? I started taking it again on June 14th (doctors orders). I just find it weird that it just all the sudden came back. Has anyone experienced any of this before?
