Generic Nexium

Is anyone out there taking Teva's version of Nexium?  I'm to the point now where I can't get the brand.  I was astonished to see that this generic version's co-pay through my insurance is so high!  $80 for 90 days.  I could understand this price for the brand, but for generic?  Anyway, I had tried this version as I had to with my last insurance, it and I didn't do as well on it. I tried it for a week. I an wondering if it was just my imagination.  So if anyone has made the switch successfully, please post!   Thanks

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

You may want to talk with your Pharmacist as they will know what meds you could take that will have the same effect but maybe cost less....mine directed me to OTC meds....so I no longer use a RX as it is more cost effective for me and I am getting the same meds and dosage....
