It could be this is why for a full week I only introduce one new food....many with GERD can also have a very slow motility so, for some reflux or heart burn can occur a good day later after eating something that was a trigger food.
I tried some trigger foods, and it didn't bother me but 24 hours later, I had a bit of heartburn. That wouldn't be from the trigger food, would it?
Yes, bcuz if I tried more how would I know which one caused the issue....I still try to watch what I eat and how much each week to try and keep things balanced that way I do not need the meds....
I do tend to need the GERD meds when my IBS flares they seem to go hand in hand, but if I can keep each calm I can go with out meds for long periods of time. and that is with watching my diet as well.
No, I did not. I just am trying to start incorporating more foods again. So, you only try one food a week and see how it works for you?
Hi.,..u may want to keep a journal and only try one item at a time so u can keep track and see which foods are ok...and slowly add them to other foods as it can be the way more than one food item ur body is reacting to....
Did u have surgery?
I wait till I feel ok and then I have one item but I take my meds with that food be it pizza, or some type of pasta....and I try to only have it once in a week so as not to cause a flare....but u need to start slowly and keep track of what u tried and how u felt.
Good luck
