Hi, I have Gerd and a small hiatus hernia and i'm taking Zoton fastabs- 30mg a day. I've had swallowing problems for 2 years and i'm slowly finding it easier to swallow since being on the tablets. I've done a bit of research on the Zoton fastabs and i found out that because the Zoton suppresses acid production, your stomach can't digest calcium as your body has to have acid to absorb the calcium. This is a big worry for me as i don't want to get Osteoporosis later in life. I found out about a calcium patch that you wear that delivers the calcium into your bloodstream, so it bypasses the need to go through the stomach. Do you think that this is a good option. Thanks Nenah.
