2 Tablespoons of Braggs Raw Unfiltered ACV. 1/4 Teaspoon of Baking Soda. 8oz of room temp water. Works wonders for me and also helps balance my PH level. I stay away from the PPI pills as they have long term consequences.
i've heard if you have low acidity ACV or lemon or anything acidic adds acid to your stomach so it doesn't have to make more of it and it doesn't reflux. i know ppl who eat lemons for reflux. they have low acidity. i have high acidity. tried ACV with baking soda and honey mixed in water but had to eliminate ACV. it helped for an hour or less. without ACV it helps even longer, especially if i eat very little or nothing at all.
lol...I understand what u mean, but I do like the tea......and I am sure there r other things u can try...Dr Oz said apple cider vinegar was adding more acid and it really doesn't work.....but, I have added drinking apple cider and eating fresh apples or pears.....and it has helped with my IBS which in turn helps my reflux.......
I hope u find something that works for u : )

Yes Ginger root tastes nasty. I am not sure if it actually cured the heartburn or my mind was diverted off of it from the nasty taste! lol, I will try ginger tea but to tell you the truth after tasting ginger root, tea doesnt appeal to my senses much either! lol Thanks.
I can't imagine chewing on ginger root...but the ginger tea helps me quite a bit.....and u do need to modify diet and lifestyle in order to help the meds.
I wish u both the best in feeling better : )
Sounds like gerd. Good luck with that! I take a prilosec every day or am miserable. Used to do vinegar and then chew on ginger root helps as well but the taste, yuck! Strict diet would help some but after I started the prilosec now I cannot do without them, ever.
Hi...I guess it all depends on what the root cause of ur GERD is....sometimes it can be from post nasal drip...if u can stop the drip, u may eliminate the GERD.....sometimes it is the Gall Bladder/stones ect.....or a hiatal hernia.
Stress can also cause GERD to intensify....so talk with ur dr.
Good luck
