Nexium Not Enough All Of a Sudden

I take 40 mg of Nexium and my Gerd has been mostly under control until a month ago. I woke up with a burning throat and it hasn't stopped. I tried taking double the Nexium, (80mg), but that made me nervous and nauseated. Now I bought some Pepcid. Is that safe to take with Nexium 40mg?

Hey I had the same problem.  I took Nexium for a couple of years and then it just stopped.  if you take too much you will throw up and I think Pepcid with it will do tha same thing.  My doctor switched me to Kapadex and it has a second release 12 hours later.  It is awesome and I don't know what I would do without it.  If I miss one day of it I am in pain so mine is bad.  I swear it is a really good drug.  if you go to their website they were offering a discount care on it if you had a Rx form your doctor.  I don't know if they still have that offer or not.  If I were you I would ask my doc for samples or an Rx.
Good luck...
